   The question “What are the total fees for a research to be done?” is often the first to be asked. However, it is really hard to give an accurate answer since every other search is different. There are many variables: the availability of documents, complexity of search, paleographical features of a text and others.
   Here’s some idea of what the costs involved in a genealogical research may be.
   On receipt of an application form we give you an initial assessment of a research. To start processing your inquiry we request prepayment in the amount of 100 USD. An exception is the search in archives of Kiev and Odessa regions when the prepayment fee amounts to 120 USD. This initial charge is deducted from the final full report charge.
   If research requires additional costs we will always agree it with you so that you will always be in control of the cost.
   Research cost is incurred for actual research time and we make no charge for traveling/ accommodation as long as we have researchers on the spot.
